Jeff Garrett was raised locally. He opened Jeff’s California Cattle Co. in 1993, and we've been a Redding favorite ever since. Our homecooked food and dedication to great service continue to set us apart from the rest! Jeff's California Cattle Co. is a traditional american diner, with big portions.

It is a small diner with great breakfast/comfort food. Their biscuits and gravy are old fashioned and great. The biscuit was huge, dense, yet fluffy, buttery and moist. Gravy was a hearty milk gravy with bits of sausage. I like over cooked scrambled eggs, they were very accommodating with the request. The staff is very friendly. This is a place the locals eat. The staff know their regulars by name and even their specials. The staff is super sweet. I have been here twice and this is the place for a solid breakfast!

Great atmosphere, good breakfast, friendly staff. They keep your coffee cup full and hot. Breakfast is quick and tasty. Eggs aren't over cooked, waffle is done perfectly and served with warm maple syrup! They know people don't want to make their warm eaffle cold with syrup!

Awesome!! We stopped for fuel across the street on our way to Oregon from Santa Barbara and enjoyed breakfast at 230pm!! All 3 of us loved our meal, will go back! Pancakes are a must.. Waitress Tracy was awesome!!
